Jim graduated from the University of Kansas, where he also played baseball, earning a BS in Business Administration. He then spent 15 years with Koch Industries in Wichita, KS before transitioning into the investment industry in 1999 with AG Edwards.

He returned to Overland Park, KS in 2013 and joined Infinitas in 2014. Client Relationship Manager Ashley Goeken also joined alongside him and continues to work closely with his clients today.

Jim enjoys helping families navigate their wealth management needs as part of the Infinitas team. He earned his AAMS designation from the College for Financial Planning in 2006.

Jim’s parents and siblings all reside in the Kansas City area. He has three adult children living in Wichita, Denver, and Kansas City and earned the title of “grandpa” in 2020. He enjoys being close to family and friends, cheering on the Royals, and spending time outdoors in Colorado running, biking, hunting, and fishing in the cool mountain air.​
