As a founding partner of Infinitas, Tim DiSette brings over three decades of experience in employer-sponsored retirement plans, personal wealth management strategies, and estate and business succession planning. Tim’s broad and comprehensive financial experience helps individuals and businesses grow, preserve, and protect their assets.
Tim graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and communications. Currently at Infinitas, Tim leads the firm’s retirement plan consulting team, which creates and manages employer-sponsored plans. Passionate about helping people prepare for their financial future, he dedicates much of his time to meeting with plan participants to discuss strategies for achieving their retirement goals. Tim also advises his personal wealth management clients on a range of financial matters including the gifting and estate tax, retirement, investments, insurance, and charitable contributions.
Recently, Forbes recognized Tim on the list of Forbes’ Best-In-State Wealth Advisors for 2023.* In addition, under his leadership, the National Association of Plan Advisors named Infinitas Retirement Plan Solutions to its 2017, 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2023 Top Defined Contribution Advisor Teams list of leading retirement plan advisor firms.* Tim has also been named multiple times as a Financial Times 401 Top Retirement Plan Advisor.* Tim has also served on the Commonwealth Financial Network® Retirement Advisory Council, which guides the broker/dealer’s national retirement advisory practice.
Tim’s passion for serving others carries over to his personal life. He has taken more than 15 mission trips to Honduras. He was instrumental in helping form and run a scholarship fund for a school in Ciudad Espana to help the city’s at-risk children get an education. Currently the program provides over 100 full scholarships to attend the bilingual Christian school. He helped construct the Infinitas Cares, charitable foundation within the local Infinitas office and in 2022 he and his family began an endowment fund for the Juan Wesley School in Honduras. In addition, he has held leadership roles at Church of the Resurrection in Leawood on the International Missions Leadership Team, as well as on his previous church’s endowments and finance committees.
Tim is a frequent speaker on company sponsored retirement plans, retirement, business continuation, estate planning, and charitable planning. He has spoken on behalf of numerous business associations and charitable organizations across the United States. Tim, his wife, Rebecca, and their three sons reside in Leawood, Kansas.
